While I was working on my own quilt in class, I decided to start another one to work on at home for my daughter Amanda's Birthday. I was happily sewing any when I realized I only had two weeks to complete hers and want into overdrive to get them both done.
She loved it!

My First Quilt
My husband got me a new sewing machine last year and I keep thinking I should make so etching. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted a new sewing machine, but didn't have any projects to use it. Then we went to visit his friends, Ann and Don,in Michigan. They have an awesome log cabin on a little lake and Ann makes beautiful quilts. I've always been intrigued by quilting but never tried it.
When we got back from that trip I looked around for classes and lucked out - a shop near our house offered beginner's classes on Friday mornings and I happen to be off Fridays during the summer!
The fabrics I chose go with our family room. I loved making this quilt and love the way it came out. Look for more quilts from me in the future!

Birthday Pop Up Card
This s another SVG Cuts card. This one is from their Premium Pop Up Cards collection. I used snow embossing on the cupcake frosting and love how that trend out.
Station Wagon Card
I used SVGCuts station wagon card from their All About Dad collection to make this card.
Sweet 16 Birthday card
I used Bugaboo Stamps Scarlette cupcake stamp and my Copics for the image. I put pink Stickles on her dress and made the frosting shine with Glossy Accents. I cut the letters with my Cricut and made the ticket in Photoshop. The numbers on the ticket are Hannah's Birthday.

I made this Birthday card for my sister using Art Impressions' Out to Lunch stamp from their new Girlfriends collection. I used my beloved Copics to color them and added some bling.
